Harakeke is a Native New Zealand Flax plant that is strong and long-lasting when used to make products.

Here local Japanese artisan Hana Kumagai has cut prepared and woven the Harakeke as Maori customs requires it, adding a little love from her heart for a unique basket to cherish for many years.
